Smithy Leisure Park is an ideal base from which to tour the surrounding area. Situated under two miles from the market town of Garstang, fifteen miles from the seaside resort towns of Morecambe and Blackpool and only ten miles to the historic City of Lancaster with it's famous castle.

The Smithy Leisure Park is within easy reach of The Lake District, The Trough of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales there are also many places of local interest to visit for all adults and children

If you have a sporting interest there are numerous activities within the area inlcuding excellent golfing at Garstang and Knott End, as well as Lancaster and Morecambe which have challenging courses.

Fishing is available from either the canal towpath or at several lakes and rivers within the vicinity of the holiday park with boats being available for hire locally. Swimming pool and leisure centre facilities can be found in Garstang and Lancaster.
